India’s first ‘Private’ Train: The country’s first private train Tejas Express will start between Delhi and Lucknow on the auspicious time of Navratri. The Indian Railways (IRCTC) will take full responsibility from ticket booking to train operations. The fare is likely to be fixed by next week, its fare will be 20% more expensive than Shatabdi Express. The flexi fair will be applicable and there will not be any exemption. With the introduction of this system, now the train fares will be increased by one and a half times.

In this fair system, as the seats are filled in the trains, its fares will increase more. To give you an example, if you travel from Delhi to Kanpur by Shatabdi Express, the chairperson has to pay a total fare of Rs 785 according to the base price of Rs 580. But after the flexi pricing system is implemented, the fare basic fair will increase by 10% for every 10% of seats booked.

If sources are to be believed, there will be many specialties in this, which will make the journey of passengers even more comfortable. Tejas Express passengers can avail lounge facilities along the lines of the airport. Initially, lounge facilities are expected to be available only to executive class passengers at Delhi or Lucknow railway stations for a nominal fee.

Lounge facilities are on the lines of the airport at Delhi and Lucknow railway stations, where there is a lot of excellent resting space as well as Wi-Fi. Not only this, it is also planned that on the lines of the business class passenger of the place, facilities will also be provided for meeting passengers in the lounge. Apart from this, the executive class coach of the private player operated Tejas Express will have many facilities. Passengers will also get the facility of high stand catering. Tejas Express will leave Lucknow for Delhi on 4 October.
